Let’s start with Iris Van Harpen. She is a Dutch fashion designer and she is currently live in Amsterdam. She is one of the unique fashion designers in the fashion industry. Utilizing 3D printing to create garments is her signature. She often collaborates with scientists and architects. Her designs can describe as living organisms. The complexity and the fluidity make her designs unfamiliar and new. I think the haute couture industry needs that. She is an inseparable part of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week since 2007.

Let’s continue with Miuccia Prada. She is an Italian fashion designer. She is currently the co-chief executive and co-creative director of Prada. Also, she is the creative director of Miu Miu. Prada’s first successful design was black lightweight backpacks. Prada introduced its first womenswear in 1988 in Milan, Italy. Miu Miu was also founded by Miuccia Prada as a subsidiary of Prada in 1933. Miuccia Prada said “I want to encourage women to fight. Dior was founded in 1946. The brand was announced the first female creative director in the brand history. It was Maria Grazia Chiuri. She is an Italian fashion designer. Before Dior, she spent her 17 years in Valentino. What I love about Maria Grazia Chiuri are her feminist inspirations. Her works often describe as youthful and romantic. Maria Grazia Chiuri is currently working as the creative director of Dior and I think she is doing very well.

Last but not the least, the fashion world was shaken by surprising news. But why? Because Phoebe Philo is returning to the fashion industry with her new brand. Phoebe Philo is a British fashion designer. She was the creative director of Céline from 2008 to 2018 and the creative director of Chloé from 2001 to 2006. She began to work as Stella McCartney’s design assistant in Chloé. Her effortless, minimalist aesthetic, clean lines and tonal color palette redefined womenswear while working in Céline. Three and a half years after leaving Céline, she is ready to come back to the fashion industry. We will be waiting for her amazing return!
